Woopsy!

Every kitchen has its own collection of Woopsies!  Today I forgot to put the eggs in my batter.  I just left them right there on the kitchen.  It turned into a science experiment to see what happens when you bake cupcakes with no eggs....

This is what happens....

The cupcakes... become cups...

This might actually be delicious filled with something sweet or savory as a new kind of dessert all its own. It tasted good anyway. But it was a bit of a pain to clean up.

Hey.... I wouldn't be honest if I didn't share the successes as well as the failures.

Hot Chocolate Mint Cupcake

You can't go wrong with chocolate...but it's more fun to give it a twist! We added an Andez mint garnish and mint green sprinkles for a wintery cake that makes you think of cozy nights by the fire.

We played with "Texas Sized" cupcake cups today. Big JUMBO cupcakes. Experimenting with how much batter to put in the cup was interesting. Most of our cakes overflowed on the first batch, but by the second and third we had it down to a science.

Buuut... the Jumbo papers were kind of plain and ugly... so we added a regular sized sleeve at the base for a fun layered effect.

This cupcake and a mug of hot chocolate would be a chocolate lover's heaven!  Mmm!

Merry {Pink} Christmas!

Ho Ho Ho from The Cupcake Stash Kitchen!!

Pink is the new Red+Green.

It snowed pink glittery sprinkles on top of our homemade butter cream icing!  The flashy foil made us think of tinsil, and the teeensy weeeensy holiday bows were the perfect topper. Wouldn't these make the most adorable addition to any holiday party?

The moist strawberry cake is a fresh flash in your mouth. YUM!

These HollyJolly cupcakes could come in any color... order your own from The Cupcake Stache.
